Worldcomp Kenya Team

Day 4 – Lions and Rhinos and Buffalos “Oh My”

On day 4 we took our first break and spent the morning at the Nairobi game park. The animals came out for us and we had a very good time.

A LITTLE LEVITY: In Kenya and around the world people know “THE BIG FIVE”. The big five are the Lion, the Panther, the Elephant, the Rhinoceros and the Cape Buffalo. Last Sunday as I was about to introduce our team, I looked out and saw five brothers sitting in a row and said “you’ve heard about The Big 5, well here they are.” This has become our standard way of introducing our team. Del Irwin is the Lion, Steve Findley is the Rhino, Corbett Stubbert is the Buffalo, Bob Leland is the Panther and John Jolly is the Elephant.

Tomorrow our team will be up at 4am and out the door by 4:45am to catch our flight to Kisumu. We’ll have breakfast in Kisumu and stop at the Widow’s Center as we make our way to Kakamega for our big weekend. Keep us in prayer for our health, because sleep has been very slim so far.

Another prayer request: Yesterday our CEO, Osborn Obayo, lost his passport. They looked for it all day and it has not been found. He is schedule to leave the country for an important trip with the Kenya parliament next week and if he isn’t able to find his passport or secure a temporary one he will have to cancel his trip. This will be a very serious problem. Please pray that he will find it or that he will be able to secure a temporary one before his departure date.

Blessings to all of you back home.

You are greatly loved

Richard
