On August 8, eleven of us will head out for Kenya to visit our projects and help with our large medical camps. Everyone is really excited about being a part of this vital mission.
BOOKS AND BAGGAGE:
One of the things we would like to do is to equip the library at our New Home of Grace Children’s Home. Our goal is to bring 200 pounds of books in 4 suitcases. With this in mind I would like to ask all of you to look around your house and see if you have any kids books you can contribute or any large suitcases. We are looking for books suitable for kids 7 years old to 14 years old. No textbooks please, because the textbooks used in Kenya are very specific, but dictionaries would be very helpful. You can drop off books or suitcases at Westside Church 7758 Earl Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98117 If no one is there, just drop things off on the doorstep. I have been doing all that I can to raise the $20,000 we need for our medical camps, but haven’t had much response. We have only raised $5000 so far. Please pray about giving a gift to buy medicine and equipment for this vital outreach. We will be serving over 6000 people who are in desperate situations. Thanks so much!
