Hello Dear Friends:
I’m off to Kenya on Friday the 16th with 7 other people for our Medical Camps. While I am there I will be sending back a “daily briefing” for all those who would like to hear about what is happening. I don’t want to presume on any of you, that you wish to or have the time to read these briefings, so if you would like me to take you off the list please just response to this email and put “Take me off” in the subject line.
Our Medical camps this year will be bigger than ever. We have a very tough schedule. We will be doing 10 camps in nine days and plan to treat over 9000 people.
I want to thank all of you for your prayers. I also want to thank all of you who gave financially to make it all happen. We drained our bank account to make it happen, but we have enough. We finally bought a pickup truck to haul around our enormous amount of medicine and food. We will also be picking up our ultrasound machine at the airport on Friday. If you have not heard, Northwest Hospital donated an ultrasound machine to WorldCOMP. It was a huge gift, a $50,000 value. This will be put to use in our medical camps for a wide variety of examinations.
Please pray for the 8 of us who are going and for the entire team of doctors, nurses, pharmacists and helpers who will be working with us on the other side.
I have prepared an itinerary for any who would like one, showing where we will be on each day and what we will be doing. If you would like me to send you one just let me know and I’ll email it to you.
