Can you believe it? Our rummage sale brought in $22,000 this year. Our goal was $15,000 but I guess we will just have to settle for more. All of this money has been wired to Kenya and is now being used to purchase the medicine that we will need to treat 12,000 people in our medical camps in August. My heart is deeply touched to see the way the Lord continues to bless our work among the poor in Kenya. I would even say that the Lord has shown himself “eager” to open the windows of heaven for this work. Perhaps it is because we have chosen to give freely of our time, talent and treasure to serve those who are desperate and without aid. Luke 6:38 gives us this promise: “Give, and it will be given to you. You will have more than enough. It can be pushed down and shaken together and it will still run over as it is given to you. The way you give to others is the way you will receive in return.” We have certainly seen the realization of that.

The work of Worldcomp continues to expand on every front. In just a few short years the number and scope of our projects has continued to expand at an amazing rate. We have now served over 55,000 people in our medical camps. Our first orphanage is up and running well and a second is planned for next year. We are feeding teaching over 600 children every day in the slums of Nairobi. We are providing microfinance and business opportunities to 700 widows. We are building a rescue center for Maasai girls, and we are improving the lives of hundreds of families who are living with AIDS. Over and above all that we have seen thousands of people come to the Lord as a result of our outreach.

I know without question that all of this is the Lord’s doing. He has moved hundreds of people to get involved. Thank you for being a part of it all. Henry Blackaby, in his famous work “Experiencing God”, has said; “Find out what God is doing and join Him in His work”. That is truly what has happened here and I, for one, am blessed to be a part of it!.

Please pray for me as I depart in a few days for Kenya. As in the past I will keep you informed through a daily email of all that God is doing. What a great adventure!

If you would like to contribute to any or all of our projects you may do so through our website at www.worldcompkenya.com/ways-to-help or you can mail a check to Worldcomp Kenya, 7758 Earl Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98117
